Discipleship Bible Baptist gets a new pastor

August 3rd, 2024

Pastor Adam begins preaching at Discipleship Bible Baptist Church this morning replacing Pastor Darin who will begin preaching at Atwood baptist Church on Sunday the 18th. We pray for both pastor Darin and pastor Adam as they fill their new roles.

The church would like to extend their invitation to anyone that would like to attend.

Pastor Darin steps down

August 3rd, 2024

Pastor Darin Laws has accepted a position with Atwood Baptist Church in Atwood, Kansas and will begin his ministry there on August 18th. If you wish to follow Pastor Darins Journey he can be found on the Atwood Baptist Church YouTube channel.

We pray that he and his family have a safe trip as they begin a new chapter in life of serving the Lord and sharing the word of God.

Our services will resume on Sunday August 11th led by Pastor Adam King.

An outing in Aberdeen today with members from the church spreading the gospel of Jesus and giving free bibles to those who wanted to learn more and read God's word.

Another powerful message from Pastor Darin Laws was delivered this week as the new church holds its second service since officially opening the doors on May 28th. The church is still looking for a building to allow for more prospective members and visitors to attend.

We ask you to pray for our new church, that the Lord will continue to guide and provide a way to spread the gospel and bring more lost souls to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And that he may continue to give our pastor the resources needed to share the word as we grow as brothers and sisters in Christ.

Discipleship Bible Baptist Church enjoyed a powerful message from Pastor Darin Laws this morning who shared a sermon from the book of Romans. You can view the video on our Worship page, or on our YouTube channel.

We invite you to join us next Sunday for services which are set to begin at 10:45 am on Sunday, June 4th. Also we ask for your continued prayers while we grow and search for a building to hold weekly services.

Discipleship Bible Baptist Church has opens it's doors just outside Aberdeen, NC., and is set to begin holding weekly services beginning Sunday, May 21st in the home of Pastor Darin Laws Until a building can be located for the church to use we will continue meeting here every Sunday morning. If you know of a space that is available feel free to let us know so we can investigate and see if it will meet the needs of the church.

We ask you to pray for our new church, that the Lord will continue to guide and provide a way to spread the gospel and bring more lost souls to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And that he may continue to give our pastor the resources needed to share the word as we grow as brothers and sisters in Christ.
